Resilient Seagrass in the Realm of Climate Change

Though Seagrasses had been confronted with adverse conditions brought by climate change and resulted to its drastic decline all over the world; some of its attributes showed resiliency. When Tacloban City, Philippines was devastated by Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan), a year after; Seagrass emerged even without restoration. This resiliency was also observed in an array of literatures when sea-level rises, even as carbon dioxide and temperature increase. Though confronted with challenges both natural and man-made, and recovery seemed to be rare, Seagrasses had developed a range of tolerance among the ill effects of a changing climate.
