HIV

The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a lentivirus that starting point as HIV infection and over time acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). HIV contaminates vital cells in the human immune system such as helper T cells, macrophages, bone marrow, thymus, lymph nodes and dendritic cells.
